INDICATIONS:

  • Provides local symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in trauma involving tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints (e.g., sprains, strains, and bruises; localized forms of soft tissue rheumatism).

  • Used for the topical treatment of osteoarthritis of superficial joints and acute musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., tenosynovitis, myositis, bursitis).

Dicloran Gel

Non-Steriodal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)

CONTENTS:

Each tube contains 10 mg/g (1% w/w) of Diclofenac Sodium.​

DOSAGE:

Apply 2–4 g of Dicloran Gel to the affected area 3–4 times daily and rub in gently, depending on the size of the painful site.

Available in a 20 g tube.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Diclofenac Sodium (Dicloran Gel) is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

  • Diclofenac Sodium (Dicloran Gel) should be applied only to intact skin and not to wounds or open injuries. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.

  • When applied to large areas of skin over a prolonged period, systemic side effects cannot be completely ruled out.

  • Since there is no sufficient clinical experience with Dicloran Gel in pregnant women, its use during pregnancy is not recommended.
