CONTENTS

Each injection contains:
• 90 mg / 3 mL of Sodium Hyaluronate

INDICATIONS:

Optivisc Single is a hyaluronic acid viscosupplement used for the treatment of mild to moderate osteoarthritis by providing joint lubrication. It is indicated to relieve pain and stiffness in the knee joint in patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis.

DOSAGE:

Please consult your healthcare practitioner for appropriate dosage and administration.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Optivisc Single should not be used in patients with:

Known hypersensitivity (allergy) to hyaluronic acid
Skin disease or infection at or near the injection site

The safety and efficacy of Optivisc Single in severely inflamed knee joints have not been established. It is only indicated for mild to moderate inflammation.
Important Precaution:

Synovial fluid or effusion should be removed before each injection.
Analyze the fluid to rule out infection before administration.
